We can assist with the following:

What is a condenser coil?

A condenser coil is a component of refrigeration and air conditioning units that converts refrigerant in the system from a gas back into its liquid form. The pressure in the condenser causes the gas to turn into liquid condensation which releases heat. This heat is then transferred to the outside of the unit.

Why is condenser coil cleaning important?

Commercial condenser coil cleaning is important as all condensers will become blocked from everyday dust and debris at some point which will result in lowered efficiency and increased operation costs. Whether you are a large or small company, an air conditioning or refrigeration system with a condenser that isn’t functioning correctly could result in compromised product integrity, reduced productivity, unusable stock, and reduced income.

Mold spores can also find their way into the condenser. The moisture inside the unit can become a breeding ground for bacteria resulting in blockages and contamination.

Planned preventative maintenance and condenser coil cleaning

Dirt and debris will inevitably gather on the condenser and restrict airflow, causing the unit to work harder and use more energy than is necessary. It is not unusual for condensers, especially remote condensers, to be forgotten about as they are out of sight, and so out of mind. It’s only when the refrigeration unit or air conditioning equipment is not keeping temperature or stops working completely that is given any thought or attention.

By arranging a planned preventative maintenance contract, you can rest assured that your equipment will be in good working order, reducing the risk of any unexpected breakages.

We can fully manage your maintenance schedule, arranging visits with the various locations, carrying out risk assessments, and compiling onsite audits with photographic evidence of the completed PPM. Our fully experienced engineers are IPAF and PASMA trained as well as F-Gas category 4 certified, allowing them to work at height and perform leak testing.
